Western civilization is very attractive to the rāksasa class. Eat, drink, be merry, and enjoy. This is the rāksasa mentality. As soon as there is television, or similar invention, they become very much enthused. They purchase and waste their time. I have seen in America the old man of the family, one dog, one television, simply wasting time. How they are wasting the valuable human life! How they are kept in darkness! This is life. I have seen television. All some fictitious stories.
